Welcome
When Jeff McAlvey began the firm in 1997 he brought his 15-plus years of experience in state government to the table. What he also brought was a passion to serve each of his clients individually and a determination to avoid conflicts of interest between clients—even if that meant limiting the amount of clients represented by his firm. Jeff saw firsthand, as Legislative Director for then Gov. John Engler, how conflicts often negatively affected clients. He set out to create a firm where individual attention, not the number of clients, was the centerpiece of his business. Twelve years later, McAlvey, Merchant & Associates remains dedicated to the four principles that guided Jeff when he started: Integrity—Trust is a critical component to success. Precision strategy—A strategic plan meticulously designed to accomplish your objectives. Individual attention—Advocating for you without the fear of divided loyalties. Proven results—The results? Well, the results speak for themselves.
