Scottie Barton
Executive Assistant
Scottie Marie Barton supports the team in day-to-day operations, including: scheduling meetings, coordinates events, overseeing office space, and helping wherever needed. Before joining the MM&A Team, Scottie was the Constituent Services Director for Governor Gretchen Whitmer, scheduler for the Whitmer for Governor Campaign, and scheduled in the Michigan Senate as well as did constituent services work.
Scottie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Service from Alma College. During her collegiate career, she interned at the United States Mission to the United Nations and the Executive Office of Governor Jennifer Granholm. She was a member of the nationally recognized Model United Nations Team, Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, and Big Brothers of Big Sisters.
Scottie is married to Brian. They reside in Holt, where they enjoy their three children Breslyn, Nash, and Jett. In her free time, she likes to read, run, shop and visit family in the Upper Peninsula.
