Megan Blue

Megan Blue joined McAlvey Merchant & Associates in 2026 bringing with her experience in healthcare policy, government relations, and legislative affairs.
Prior to joining the firm, Megan served as Senior Director of Healthcare Payer Policy at the Michigan Health & Hospital Association, where she developed expertise in Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance policy. In that role, she worked with health systems, payers, and state leaders to monitor policy developments and support advocacy efforts on behalf of hospitals across Michigan.
Previously, Megan served as Director of Government Relations for Corewell Health, where she represented a 21-hospital system at the local, state, and federal levels. She also worked in the Michigan House of Representatives as a Legislative Director and internationally as a Uganda Program Officer with the Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice based in The Hague.
Megan holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree in international relations and diplomacy from Leiden University. She is a graduate of the Michigan Political Leadership Program and was named a 2023 “10 Within 10” honoree by Central Michigan University.
